Research Portfolio

My research is primarily concerned with investigating the internal morphology of bone at the microscale. This includes quantifying osteocyte lacunae, canals in bone, and mineralization. More recently, I have been interested in investigating the path of crack propagation in bone to determine how bone’s natural resistance to fracture is impeded by degradation of bone quality. Below you’ll find links to more information about my research as part of the F² lab.
